As stated in the topic, the Jos Experimental Protocol Stack is now able to reassemble fragments of large IP datagrams sent to it and fragment large datagrams it wants to send. If you feel like giving it a shot, it's for grabs at the usual locations http://www.metamech.com/wiki/view/Main/JEPS http://vills28.cs.kpn.cx/jos/ Looking at the java.net API i got the feeling that the natural way to interact with it would be through the DatagramSocketImpl/SocketImpl interface (that are just thin layers on top of the berkeley sockets). The problem is that I do not have any experience whatsoever with Factories etc, so i guess i could use a pointer towards appropriate documentation. The main question is: After i have written a class that implements the DatagramSocketImpl interface, how do i get java.net to actually use it? Help will be appreciated. R.A. PS: Some admin joker over here at the uni thought it would be fun to play with sendmail aliases, and now for soem odd reason i can't seem to get mail through to the Arch list as i'm no longer sending from the exact adress i subscribed from. I'll sort that out ASAP. I'll just send to the kernel list instead, as i think almost everyone is on both lists. _______________________________________________ Kernel maillist - [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://jos.org/mailman/listinfo/kernel
