[JOS-Kernel] what do I do after I've built the GRUB boot disk

a Newbie question, but I've been all through the web site and can't seem to
get the next step.  I'm assuming since (from the docs) that the classes are
to big to fit on a floppy, that I would have to direct the loader (GRUB) to
find the kernel files some where else (like on my C-drive).  Is this true?
Can someone help me with this?
