The most important part of the Desktop Browser is the way it works, not the
way it looks. I'm sure some other programmer would be able to make a
desktop that looks better.

The Desktop Browser does not yet use icons. Also, I had in mind selecting
icons based on protocol/scheme of a link. For example, all http:// links
would have an HTTP protocol icon, regardless of file extension.

I expect the Desktop Browser to use paintable icons, not bit-mapped icons.
Paintable icons use java.awt.Graphics to paint lines, rectangles, arcs and
text on the desktop window. Icon color and size are determined at run-time.
