I don't believe CVS should be a prerequisite for downloading and running an open source product, such as a JOS-compatible kernel or virtual machine. We must understand our potential market. Most of the consumer market probably has never heard of CVS. Many potential contributors to the JOS Project are dealing with CVS for the first time. How will you distribute your virtual machine?
