Wouldn't be better to have the GITLAB_URL hardcoded in the script? That would
remove the requirement of having a remote called 'gitlab' (at least for this
script) and the script wouldn't depend on local configs of each user. It makes
sense all users having a remote tracking the gitlab repository, but calling it
'gitlab' doesn't need to be requirement, I guess. Another point is that the
chance of an error (e.g., a typo in the URL, an URL outdated, etc.) increases
with the number of users.
