Hey everyone, I've opened this MR up to see if anyone wants to make
suggestions on improving the script.
Without a -j value, the python script is faster than the shell script.
At -j10 they are about the same.
At -j20 the shell script takes about 12 seconds to complete, and the
python script is slower by about 1.5 seconds.
