I don't know why ld resets the addresses (or rather doesn't make the addresses continugous in .debug_line) when linking multiple shared objects (with relocatable code). Anyway I'm going through the DWARF 3.0 spec Section 6.2 "Line number information" to see if I can find anything, will update here.
