i already have that on my list.

LDD3 is starting to show its age, particularly with respect to the
new content related to sysfs and kobjects. that's why i was curious
about what people thought was the more up-to-date material on the
topic. i'll be checking out the free-electrons stuff shortly, i'm
fairly confident that will be adequately recent.
