Hi All, I'm trying to analyze the performance of Linux Kernel. I need to compare this with VxWorks performance. What are the performance benchmarks do we have to take?. How can we test the efficiency of the features provided by the OSes like Scheduling, Mem. Management, VM, network buffers (this i'm thinking to run with some traffic generator tool). I guess this is broad problem area, but i would like to start off somewhere on this.
I need your suggestions on how can i go about with this. Any docs/hints will be helpful for me. Thanks.
