I checked this page http://git.kernel.org/?p=linux/kernel/git/torvalds/linux-2.6.git;a=summary they mentioned an HTTP url http://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/torvalds/linux-2.6.git but when I accessed it then got a 404 page not found error.
