Hi, As a field of the type of task_struct, ptrace seems to be pertaining to debugger. I have three questions about it.
1. What's the content of the ptrace field and who is responsible to set it? 2. When a debugger acting on a process A, A creates its child process B. Then, how ptraces of A and B reflcet this situation. 3. Some status of a process can be queried through the /proc/pid/status, but there seemingly is no information about the ptrace besides a stat named 'ptracer'. Is there any way to query it? Or, any clues of documentations about it will be appreciated yet.
