У меня есть подозрение, что модуль radeon у вас заблокирован. Покажите
вывод команды

# fgrep -ri radeon /etc/modprobe.d

Если есть что-то про blacklist (или вообще ничего нет), то уберите эти
строки, и добавьте следущее:

# fgrep -ir radeon /etc/modprobe.d/
/etc/modprobe.d/radeon-kms.conf:options radeon modeset=1

затем depmod -a && make-initrd && reboot
