   Sigh, it basically means much of our last year's patchwork sliiping thru the 
cracks
(not sure why it's not been merged to SF CVS).

   Ugh... I'll have to reconstruct them from the patch interdiff's since I 
never posted them as separate patches back then (Vitaly Wool was doing all 
upstream sync'ing).

   Hmm, it looks like my March/April patches somehow escaped attention -- I'm 
seeing it in the list archive but they're too mangled to be useful. Do I need 
to repost?
