I think its important to recognize two things:
a) I love Jean-Pierre. He is among the finest gentlemen I've ever met. That makes him a far finer gentleman than I. b) Had not Wayne and I spent so much time improving code quality, then other quality developers like Brian, Tom, Orson, Brian, Marco, Marco, Miguel, Cirilo, and Henner would have walked on by. These kinds of people needed to see something more than features, they needed to see something they could read, understand, and had some sense of conceptual consistency behind it. <p> Code quality affects more than executable performance. It affects the ability to draw in new developers. IMO, among these two, a) is a thousand times more important.
