I have rewritten the VRML export code so it shares the VRML construction code used by the idf2vrml tool.
A number of cosmetic rendering defects have been fixed. Some cosmetic rendering defects still exist, but these also existed in the older exporter. The good news is that I now know what triggers these defects and that the issue is somewhere in the GLU tesselator's polygon merging code. The bad news is that I still can't produce these defects on demand, but I will look into schemes to bypass the problems. One possibility is to use KiCad's polygon routines as 3DView does; 3DView doesn't exhibit the same artifacts as the VRML exporter.
