KiCad-Winbuilder is using a patched 3.0.0 so it's pretty stable at the moment. I wanted to wait for a period of no bug reporting against wxWidgets (with regards to KiCad) until I bumped the version in the wxWidgets-cmake project that Winbuilder uses.
