Okay, just very quickly, and again, probably can’t get back to this today, but
in boost/libs/filesystem/src/operations.cpp, there’s this bit of code:

#   if defined(AT_FDCWD) && defined(AT_SYMLINK_NOFOLLOW) \
      && !(defined(__SUNPRO_CC) || defined(sun)) \
      && !(defined(linux) || defined(__linux) || defined(__linux__))
      if (::fchmodat(AT_FDCWD, p.c_str(), mode_cast(prms),
           !(prms & symlink_perms) ? 0 : AT_SYMLINK_NOFOLLOW))
# else // fallback if fchmodat() not supported
      if (::chmod(p.c_str(), mode_cast(prms)))
#   endif

On a 10.10 system with a deployment target of 10.10, this will compile in the
fchmodat call. Subsequently linking kicad with the 10.7 deployment target
would likely give the errors you’re seeing. The deployment target for boost
needs to match kicad.
