Sadly all the 'niche' industries (i.e. all of that ones without millions of licenses around...) tends to have software that sucks really hard:P To make a name Xilinx is one of these (at least with ISE, I don't know Vivado since I use generation 6 parts). So if you, for example, used prontoplace to handle board manufacturing you would see *all the fscking silk and drawings* flipped over because they misinterpreted the gencad specs (which is quite clear, BTW).
