Hello, sharp 1px or 2px lines cause icon to look sharp (obviously). This does not normally lead to a pleasant GUI experience unless we consider a GUI from the 90s.
According the the overall style chosen it might be a good idea to add a a second line next to the 1px (2px) line of a much lower (or higher) saturation. More sophisticated options exists too.
