Hi John-
This adjustment is already planned. I have a preference for start, end
and radius. This allows radius to be positive for a clockwise arc and
negative for a counter-clockwise one. It also makes the coding easier
although this is secondary.
Some discussion of this was in the comments of the new symbol file
format[1].
