Hi Randy Usually your best bet is to just fire up KiCad and make the footprint yourself, datasheets usually are quite good at pad layout and dimensions - I'm always a bit worried when using other peoples footprints as you don't know how accurate they are! And trust me, a wrong footprint can cause no end of pain when it comes to board manufacture - I've just been through this with SOT23 transistors on a board, stupidly i numbered the pads wrong and its taken two attempts with the board manufacturers to try and get the transistors rotated to get it working - luckily id only ordered 15 boards this time.
The answer - quadruple check everything! Matt. On 27/07/07, wrgb2 <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > Hello, > > I am in need of a 72 pin (36x2) card edge (female) connector symbol and > outline. Can anyone point me to one? > > Thanks, > > Randy > > >
