IMHO there is one big enhancement that is missing in kicad and would have a great efect for users: *User interface*. I am talking about both pontual improvements and general kicad behaviour, some things are very odd to new users and cumbersome to old runners: project management, library management (system+user+project), multiple windows open, net list error messages, etc... just my 2c, it can wait, but should get forgotten.
