Hi everybody kidcad is great!
I'm following the mini-tutorial at: http://kicad.sourceforge.net/wiki/index.php/Mini_tutorial which is very good, if a bit out-of-date. I have a couple of quick questions. The tutorial says that in PCBnew, if you turn on "module ratsnest", you should get rubberbanding of the airwires when you move a module. But this button seems to have no effect at all. Also, I can't figure out how to see each net separately when I click on a pin or module--"Display local ratsnest" works, but it always shows each net I click, without erasing the previous one. Does anyone have any hints for how to effectively show and use ratsnest and airwire view controls? Thanks --Mark Johnson Silver Spring, MD
