When you say 'power port', can I assume you mean something like a ground symbol or a symbol for +5V which you make yourself?
If so: I would check the help manual for special requirements on parts that are to be sources and sinks of power. (parts with a single pin.) I have a personal library with several such parts, and although I cannot recall exactly, I know I was referred to the manual when I asked a similar question 2-3 years ago on this list. There was something special about building these parts, but I don't remember whether it was PIN name or what.... I just know it is recorded on this list, and also in the manual. What you want, CAN be done, as I have a library full of such components. Dick
