To expand on what Greg said, KiCAD doesn't seem to have the ability to
rubberband traces in a straightforward manner.  You can select a zone
or block that contains the trace of interest and drag it around but it's
really clumsy IMO.

It just relocats the end og the segment attached to the component.  It
can sometimes take a lot of time to fix up the segments of the nets.
