Thank for sending me your example, I understand now why this work for you ans not for me. I used the "File->Print" menu and you used the "File->Plot" menu. The print function is broken under Linux, but we can use the plot function as well and save the file in the postscript format, open the file with a default ps viewer and send it to a printer, this works fine.
