What I do is to use SVN installed locally or Mercurial in conjunction with
TortoiseSVN or TortoiseHG. I've started using mercurial due to one of the
google code project I'm involved with and I find it better than SVN, I just
installed the TortoiseHG , http://mercurial.selenic.com/ , as Mercurial
allows you to have a local repository that can be synced to a central
location.

At the end of each day or at milestones I check in my work and I can also
tag my project at relevant revisions, no need to save under different names.

Subject: [kicad-users] Kicad Versioning

Is there a way to do versioning,(spelling?) in Kicad, like PCB_rev-a,
rev-b and so on?
I know I can just do a 'Save As' and rename the Schematic or board.
But would like to know if there is a way to have Kicad do it for me.

Been using GIT to keep track of my revs but that seems a bit much
to me, since i'm the only one using it, great for collaborating with
multiple users a bit overkill for just one guy.IMO
