Dear Jelena,
quite a lot of work on your side. Let us do something too - why
don't you send us the ontology extension you've designed accompanied by
the knowledge base extension, so that we can try it on our side and
determine the reason.
Regarding the extension of the default IE application:
generally it is a GATE application, though it is not loadable in GATE
directly because of dependencies to semantic repository and others.
If you tell us what kind of extension we will figure out and share the
best way to do it
