Hi List,

I've heard a few people in the list having a hard time figuring out which mail is being replied to or they are having difficulty following the discussion thread. I've taken some time to browse through our local archive at http://archives.free.net.ph/list/klug.html and I personally don't find it very usable and friendly.

Seasoned mailing-list users are accustomed to how it works and gmail is effectively following and putting the pieces of discussion together. So, to ease and help those who are new to mailing lists, others have suggested to open a gmail account. Doing this would greatly aid you in monitor thread replies.

Aside from this, friends of linux enthusiasts in the list may also be interested in finding out what our group is about and what are the things we're discussing. And as I've previously said, I do not find http://archives.free.net.ph/list/klug.html to be user friendly and accessible so I've opened a Google Group which will archive our discussion remotely, aid in establing our online presence, and help the transition of those who are not accustomed to mailing-lists follow the thread.

Our Google Group Remote Archive is at: http://groups-beta.google.com/group/kagayanon-linux-users-group
