is it friendly for first time users/kids? in my own opinion, every linux distro is user friendly if its presented to first time users as well. I can still recall the first time i use a computer, a 8086 pc with builtin gwbasic, you actually need to learn to program before you can use it. And during the DOS age, you will need to remember the commands, DIR. COPY, MOVE, CTRL KB, CTRL KK, in order to use your computer. We don't even have a mouse that time.
But, since these are kids are using the pc for the first time, it will be easy for them to adapt. The kids will have no basis in comparing it to another OS because they haven't used any before. User friendly complains should be minimal and only to those kids with windows pc at home. -- How many people can read hex if only you and dead people can read hex?
