- SAP stands for Systems, Applications and Products in Data Processing.  It
is the name of the company and also the brand of their product.

SAP as a company is the world's leading provider of enterprise software
solutions
What is enterprise software? - this is an integrated software that supports
the information flow among the processes in the supply chain (supplier,
manufacturing, distribution, retail outlet, consumer)

What do SAP Professionals do?
- identification of business requirements, business blueprints,
configuration, application integration, testing, knowledge transfer,
documentation, maintenance and support.

Careers in SAP*
- consultants, support specialist, instructor, user/business process owner
or project manager

*Who can be SAP Consultants?*
- fresh grads from IT, engineering and business related courses
- graduate school students with business process background(sales and
distribution, manufacturing etc)
- career shifters from operations side or from other ERP with business
process experience.

*SAP Certification*
- SAP Certification is every Friday except holidays. (10am and 2pm)

*Expected Salary*
- salary varies from experience and the project.  Since the course is abit
expensive it is expected that you are also paid well. In the Philippines
there are around 900 SAP Certified Consultants and only 40% is here in the
country.  The demand abroad is huge.  Your SAP Knowledge acquired in the
Philippines is widely recognized all over the world.
