If the "newbie server" was configured as a linux router/gateway, then yes you can.
Use "cutter". # apt-get install cutter Then use cutter as : # cutter <ip_of_machine_to_drop> (ie. #cutter 192.168.10.233 ) You can specify what protocol/port to terminate for the target machine. To drop an FTP session: #cutter 192.168.10.233 21 To drop the FTP session from the target machine to a specific remote server only, leaving the rest of the sessions intact: #cutter 123.45.67.89 192.168.10.233 21 Enjoy.
