I installed it into /usr/local, but the handbook could not be
located. Installing into /usr and all is well. This on Linux Mint
11.04.
Works here (installed into /usr, shows Ukrainian help after
pressing F1, Mageia 1.0, KDE 4.6.5).
What is the installation path in your system? Are the other KDE
docs shown correctly?
Yes, it's OK here too when installed into /usr, but not when in
/usr/local.
The other KDE docs are OK, but they're from packages and installed
by default into /usr.

Ah, I remember that thread. As I see it, that's not a solution, but an
explanation of why it won't work. However, I do admit that I gave up
before I tried absolutely every possible combination of use of the
files mentioned. If anybody does figure out how to do this, I'd really
love to know.
