Allan,
You CAN compile from source on Windows, but you need to follow the
KDE-Windows way, which puts things in predictable (if non-standard?)
places. I suspect this help minimize any Windows specific code in the
source. I tried it once several years ago, and made much progress, but
never got a complete system. I may try it again, now that I have a
faster machine to play with.
Regarding fixing a bug - I suppose we could consider another bug fix
release (4.6.5?) but overall I think the team (hope I'm not putting
words in anyone's mouth) would prefer to focus on 4.7 now. However,
putting out a bug fix version just for windows might be reasonable once
Cristian gets to it - since there is really only one place to download
it (well, two - the full KDE-Windows release, and the standalone that
Cristian does.) It does sound like that is what he plans, so probably
best to wait and see for now.

Hi Jack
Yes, that is what I thought, but as I didn't expect to be fixing any KDE
stuff, I just downloaded the binaries, plus KMM source. One of those
quick fixes that turn out not to be.
From what Cristian said recently, 4.6.4 is the last bug-fix release.
Whether he'll think of a 4.6.4W, I don't know.
Unless I get particularly bored, I think I'll leave Windows to others.
The thought did occur to me, though, that if something goes amiss in the
CSV plugins, then that could be tricky. I could produce a patch, but
not be able to test it.
