Update: if I create an "interest income" transaction fees are saved. Then if I
modify the transaction to "dividend" feees are keeped.
So the problem is only when creating directly a "dividend" transaction, where
fees are not saved.
This problem was fixed some while ago but is not present in 4.6.4
unfortunately.
So, pending the next stable release, I'm afraid your work-around will be
needed.
