As there is no direct way anymore to enter a transaction without a category, I suggest you try the following: 1. Import a transaction from a CSV file, for example the spaces.csv mentioned in https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=333911 (importing instructions are given in the bug description) 2. Go to ledgers and view the transaction.
