Cristian,
Yes, as I'm far better at editing than at writing, that sounds good.
Unfortunately, I've done extremely little so far, but at least I've managed
to clean out the problems with my local git copy so I can at least do a
clean compile. I've got plenty of notes about stuff that needs to be
mentioned - so hopefully I can get most of it done in the next week and a
half.
Thanks, for your help, then I'll try to add the necessary structure
(hopefully with some text :)) then you can improve that.
The other thing to think about for the tags section is where in the manual
is should go, and where else it needs mentioning, such as in the list of new
features, and probably in categories - since it is somewhat similar.
I think tags should be documented the same way as categories.
Regards,
Cristian
One thing it might be as well to keep in mind with tabs is that we do
not support their import in any way. They are purely used in manual input.

Hi,
I'm trying to compile the list of new stuff in master vs. 4.6. I came
up with this so far by looking at the commit history:
- Tags
- Proper input methods support
- Added a frozen column to improve visualizing forecast details
- Performance optimizations
- Improved the icon theme
- Transaction form improvements
- Improved multiple records management actions (payees, transactions,
etc.)
- CSV importer was improved
- CSV exporter added
- OFX plugin now allows custom application version
- A lot of bugs fixed
Please let me know if you think I've missed something or if you think
that something should be removed from this list because it's not so
important.
Jack since "tags" is the biggest feature in the upcoming release do
you think you would have time for a few words about this feature? I
could create a docbook stub chapter for this and we could keep adding
to that.
Regards,
Cristian
