Certainly, KMyMoney has quite a long history and its code base has grown over
time but once you have an itch you can scratch it and we will help you to get
started. Throw your patches against phabricator
(https://phabricator.kde.org/project/view/167/) and we (the devs with enough
background) will take a look at them and provide advise.

At the moment, I think we could use some help on getting the application
running in MS-Windows and Mac OSX environments (installable versions that run
out-of-the-box). Depending on your preferences this might be another area where
we could use help. Lukasz may have some more information on this one.

It would be nice to have instructions on how to duplicate a bug. Sometimes this
information is missing but vital to fix the problem.

Jack already answered this one.

That is an interesting idea. We certainly could use some help here. I just
don't have an idea what to ask for and what would be needed by a new
contributor.

Hope this helps as a first step to get you started. If you have more questions
please let us know.
