Which appimage? Versions exist for both stable and from master.
Your error seems unrelated, and master is known to not necessarily be stable.
Just in case, ave you run memcheck recently?
The message about not finding woob is really a warning and not an error, unless
you actually do have it installed, but it still should not cause a crash.
