*Purpose of the role - How it adds value*
*Deliverables: criteria/results by which success can be measured:*
* **The DATA WAREHOUSE CONSULTANT will lead the analysis, design, and
development of the ETL needed to deliver an account profitability tool that
allocates expenses back to an account level. ***Strong SSIS required;
conversion exp a PLUS.*
*The warehouse consultant is expected contribute to the project plan, and to
report status on timelines and deliverables in accordance to plan, and well
as engage members of our BI team in design sessions, and share knowledge
with team members. *
* *
*The ideal candidate will also produce test plans as well as production
migration scripts. *
* *
*Produce/maintain documentation according to our life cycle methodology. *
* *
*Must be accustomed to working in a fast paced environment with shifting
priorities. *
* *
*Technical Knowledge:*
3 or more years of experience designing, developing, and deploying ETL for
an enterprise class data warehouses in SQL 2005 SSIS. OLAP experience is a
plus.
Experience in designing scalable ETL streams that are sensitive to
high/changing data volumes.
Expert in SQL Server 2005 SSIS. SQL 2000 DTS is a plus.
Working knowledge of Transact-SQL, triggers, stored procedures and functions
Working knowledge of SQL Server Analysis Services cubes (2000 and 2005)
including design and development is also a plus.
Experienced in data warehousing methodologies and their implementations
Working knowledge of the full SDLC process; analysis, design, development,
testing, deployment, and support.
Banking/Finance industry warehouse development experience is a plus.
Other Qualifications
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, while performing well within teams.
- Solid MS Office skills. College Degree in MIS/Comp
