Reply ASAP Location(State/city):Virginia VA/HERNDON Duration: 6 months Req Details: Test Lead and an IT Data Analyst. As a Test Lead, this resource will actively participate and represent the System Test team in Leadership meetings, Change Control Boards, Requirements Reviews, and Design walkthroughs. This individual will be joining an existing team of 8 system testers that are currently supporting four different applications and will be working closely with them in ensuring that all entrance and exit criteria of a QA cycle for each Software Release have been satisfied.. The data analyst will create/modify use cases and then develop test scenarios,modify/pull the loans and securities data (SQL) to support the test scenarios/cases and create expected results (in excel). This individual will also execute the tests using Unix and support the Development and Business teams on any questions they have regarding the test results. Below are the high level functions and duties: . Develop/Modify test scenarios, test cases and expected results. Execute test scenarios/cases and validate against expected results. This includes leading a team of QA resources to perform these activities. Manage completion of required action items, including hands-on validation and scenario walkthroughs. . Identify dependencies with external groups (upstream/downstream systems) and coordinate as necessary to achieve project deadlines and milestones. Work closely with others to implement and improve preventative and detective controls that ensure complete and accurate financial reporting information is provisioned. - Perform data analysis on Securities and Loans data for the applications we support (PdTax, ILAS, Impairments, Amortization), perform source to target mapping, work with Development and Business to define data requirements, research data consistency across securities/loans populations. . Develop and/or modify process maps, use cases, data flows and system documentation according to corporate and team practices. . Must be proficient in SQL, Oracle, Unix, Microsoft Excel, Access, Quality Center and other common desktop applications. . Interact with technology partners to resolve requirement questions, unexpected test results and create any necessary documentation from the requirements/testing. . Five or more years of progressive work experience within a finance institution or a consulting/accounting firm, including a strong understanding of and experience with accounting principles. Understanding of general Securities and Loans Accounting is required; understanding of Fannie Mae's Loans Business is preferred. Experience with SCBSL (Securities Subledger) preferred.
