Position: SQL Server Developer Location(State/city):Ohio OH/COLUMBUS Duration: 6 months (Consultant MUST posses all the mentioned skills) Required Details: The qualified candidate is required to have the following: Minimum skills and experience: At least 8 years of IT experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to quickly understand complex technical concepts and effectively convey them to technical or non-technical co-workers. Minimum six (6) years hands-on development with SQL Server 2005 and writing stored procedures for relational databases including SQL Server 2005. Minimum four (4) years experience creating and modifying SSIS packages Minimum of two (2) years using version control/source storage systems (EG: Visual Source Safe, Team Foundation Server). Minimum of three (3) years creating middle layer application services Minimum of three (3) years working with secure data transmission methods Minimum of three (3) years creating ETL systems Excellent communication and customer service skills Preferred Database Administrator skills and experience: Thorough working knowledge of the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), IT systems and processes, methodologies and their direct implementation to projects. The types of work the consultant will perform include: System Design Specifications for intended solution Technical evaluations, development estimates and product support estimates Development of stored procedures and ETL processes Create and modify SSIS packages, as well as transport mechanism like FTP Integration testing and code debugging.
