Senior Systems Engineer needed to manage the network, servers, storage and overall IT infrastructure for growing aerospace distribution company. This position's primary responsibilities include but are not limited to network administration, server administration, storage administration, virtual infrastructure management, and response to day-to-day trouble tickets. This is a great opportunity to increase knowledge in a variety of the latest IT technologies. Upcoming projects include but are not limited to: Active Directory migration from 2003 native AD to native 2008 AD, Cisco ASA deployment, migration to new virtualization platform (from Virtual Iron), System Center configuration, Shoretel phone system upgrade, and Windows 7 deployment. On-call is rotated on weekly basis. Each member of the IT team is included in the on-call schedule. Requirements: · Proficient with Cisco Routing/Switching (ASA experience a plus). · Proficient with EMC Storage (specifically EMC Clarion/CX300 series, Navisphere, NAS/Celerra) and Cisco FC switches. · Virtualization experience (VMWare, Hyper-V, Citrix, or Virtual Iron, etc). Highly Preferred: · System Center (Config Mgr, Ops Mgr, etc) preferred but not required. · Telephony experience preferred but not required. · Certified (Cisco, Microsoft, CompTIA) candidates highly desirable. Desirable: · IBM Bladecenter experience desirable, but not required. · Shoretel experience desirable, but not required. I wonder if you or perhaps a colleague might be interested.
