------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Position: SharePoint Portal Admin Location(State/city):Illinois IL/WESTMONT Duration: 6+ months **Need Local to IL only** Required Details: Requirement: We need someone for a long-term (no defined end date) consulting position to work on our SharePoint MOSS 2007 environments as an operations support resource. The person would be in charge of managing backups, MOSS services, search, 3rd party SharePoint utilities, building out new servers, etc. Anything related to keeping the platform running smoothly. There would be some work handling issue tickets and we would like the person to be willing to be paged for major system outages (hopefully not too many of those). Requirements for the SharePoint infrastructure position: Central Administration tasks - Web applications, site collections, AAM, solution management, incoming email, antivirus settings. SSP administration - User Profiles/My Sites, Audiences, some knowledge of BDC and Excel Services Search Administration - Set up search, index/query servers, Content Sources, Managed and crawled properties, search schedules Knowledge of stsadm tool, sharepoint configuration wizard, expanding a server farm, applying service packs and patches Knowledge of IIS, AD, SQL Server Security - server farm account, web application/app pool accounts, SSP securit -- Regards, Gautam Thakuria _______________________________ SR.
