Maximo utilizes Oracle databases and reporting via Actuate query builder; Web-based customer outreach data tracking. Contractor shall provide a business/data analyst that can design, implement, and maintain a database utilizing Microsoft Access for the purpose of storing and consolidating selected analytical data that will be used to support and improve help desk functions. The analyst must assist management in the design, development and implementation of quality assurance data elements and associated data capture templates. The analyst must be able to determine the most efficient methodology for extracting and manipulating data for ongoing analysis and reporting. Data from CMS, Maximo service desk ticket management, quality assurance, and customer outreach processes will be integrated into a set of baseline customized cyclical management and operational reports developed in conjunction with Help Desk management. * * * * *Required Experience/Knowledge/Skill* * * *a. Subject Matter Expert -* Contractor shall be a Subject Matter Expert Professional (SME) capable of working collaboratively within the integrated business with extensive latitude for independent judgment, decision-making and action within general guidelines to achieve stated tasks of the business. *b. Minimum Qualifications -* Contractor shall at a minimum possess the following: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. - MS Access expertise. - 5+ years of related experience. - Familiarity with Avaya CMS and Actuate reporting tools. - Excellent PC-skills—including working knowledge of and proficiency with various Microsoft word-processing, spreadsheet and presentation applications. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Ability to prioritize assignments and effectively adjust to a heavy and dynamic workload. *c. Help Desk Reporting Tools –* Contractor is expected to understand WMATA’s Help Desk environment and associated reporting tools including Avaya CMS and Actuate query builder. *d. Access Data Base -* Contractor shall have expertise in Microsoft Access and must design, implement, and maintain a database utilizing Microsoft Access for the purpose of storing and consolidating analytical data that will be used to support and improve help desk functions. Data must be extracted from existing sources including Avaya CMS, Maximo, web-based customer outreach data, as well as to be developed unit and individual quality assurance information. *e. Customized Reports –* Contractor shall design, implement, and maintain customized management and operational reports within CMS and Maximo as well as reports consolidating data from multiple Help Desk sources. *f. Quality Assurance Database -* Contractor shall design, implement, and maintain a Microsoft Access database and associated quality assurance data element templates for the purpose capturing and reporting individual and unit level quality assurance data. Data may come from CMS, Maximo, and/or manual inspection sources.
