SYSTEM ENGINEER…
4 MONTH CONTRACT
N. VIRGINIA/DC METRO AREA
US Citizens Only
Loaded bill rate: $40hr
Maintain continuous availability of the system(s) by performing
upgrades, migrations, and maintenance to operation systems and other
middleware program products.
Daily, and on-call, system support providing problem determination and
resolution for installed systems software and data center hardware.
Daily configuration and tuning of systems and applications. This may
include: Windows Server, Linux, and Cisco IOS
Maintain knowledge of vendor's current hardware and software products
Prepare recommendations on upgrades to the environment for management
Work with internal / external auditors to evaluate system security
Write system policies and procedures.
The following skills are necessary for this role:
Bachelors Degree in MIS, Comp. Sci. or related field or equivalent
technical/vocational certification or experience.
4 to 6 years industry experience as a System Administrator or similar function
At least one vendor endorsed system certification (Cisco, Microsoft,
Novell, IBM, etc)
Knowledge of the following platforms: Cisco IOS, Microsoft Windows
Server, or LINUX.
Good understanding of DNS, IIS, WINS, DHCP and other operating system
functions and services.
Excellent understanding of AD and/or LDAP
Will need to in-person interview for the position

SAP deployment Data Migration Coordinator : Coordinate data migration
effort between SAP deployment team and centralized data conversion
team. Responsible for coordinating the effort to migrate data in SAP
FI/CO, MM, SD, PM across multiple divisions. Responsible for defining
data conversion scope, planning mock data conversion, production data
conversion, and cutover process. Requires experience in SAP data
migration. Exposure to SAP -FI, -MM, -SD, -PM nice to have.
International travel required (3 weeks out x 1 week home)
