Line of Business: Internet Services Group Job Classification: Systems Architect Position Description: Experience Level: Combination of education & work exp equivalent to a Bachelor's degree with 10+ yrs exp in specified technical area. Description: Acts in a strategic role in the development and maintenance of architectures for a line of business or infrastructure sub-domain that are in compliance with the Enterprise Architecture. Responsible for working on medium to high architectural impact projects, recommending exceptions to the Enterprise Architecture for high level projects, reviewing and approving medium architectural impact designs, communicating the Enterprise Architecture strategy and direction to both management and systems related teams within their line of business or infrastructure sub-domain (organizational unit) and directing implementation of the architecture for their organizational unit. Serves as the highest-level technical consultant to internal clients and technical management to ensure conformity with Enterprise Architecture, h! aving expertise across a broad portion of the organizational unit's architecture, or in-depth expertise within a more specific portion of the architecture. This experienced individual will be part of the middleware team supporting the very complex pre-production environments. He/She should have experience/expertise with Websphere MQ v5.3-8, Veritas clustering and Solaris. Preferred skills (as resource will be expected to support a variety of other functions as needed) include: Weblogic, F5, N1 Deploymnet, NDM, Sun One and Autosys. Excellent oral and written communication, listening, technical documentation, adherence to detailed specifications, and an open, analytical nature are highly desirable attributes for any candidates.
