Let me know if you have any consultants with the following skills *Job : **QA Tester w/ Billing Systems/Oracle Financials Exp * *Location : Santa Clara, CA* *Duration : 8+ Months* *Rate: $35/hr Max c-c (No Flex)*** QA Tester with: Either Skill set A: Exposure to overall *Oracle Financials** OR **UNIX OS**experience with **billing system** experience: **Amdocs, Kenan, and Geneva** * Or Skill set B: Experience in *BRM** OR **ETL / data conversion** experience with financial understanding, **billing exposure & Oracle ERP* *Job Description*: - Understanding of QA processes, approaches, methodologies and software development lifecycle, and apply this knowledge into daily operation - Ability to understand comprehensive test plan and test suites, and able to fully fulfill the listed criteria in test plan - Create test cases based off requirements - Executing test cases - Technical understanding of product features/functions, system integration in particular, use cases (conceptually what a use case is), core technology and architecture design, and with the ability to apply the knowledge to test planning and test execution. The expectation is that the testers have the basic understanding of what an API is, what a backend system is - they will be trained on the specific product features once on-boarded. - Ability to communicate effectively within team or cross other teams, strong English language skills - Excellent written and verbal communication skill & critical thinking abilities - BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent education/experience - Ability in root cause analysis of issues, resolving testing issues & driving issues to closure - Exposure to overall Oracle Financials is a plus - Strong backend testing experience or API testing experience.
