Client' Audit Transformation Team seeks a few outstanding QA software testers to join a dynamic team of professionals working on the design, development, testing, and deployment of a next-generation audit software system. The QA software testers will join the existing 30-person QA team responsible for the client side testing of the application. The development team is using C# and .NET technologies among others to create and test a series of client-side prototype modules. Unlike an ordinary testing environment where detailed pre-set specifications are received in advance for test case identification and documentation, the design/build environment uses an agile development process in many respects similar to rapid prototyping. QA software testers in this environment must work in a team with programmers and practitioners to understand the needs of the practitioners and design appropriate test cases and plans. Using an iterative programming process, testers will observe the first versions in action and work directly with designers and programmers to improve the design and testing of current and subsequent versions. QA software Testers should have experience in testing software in a design/build environment, preferably with rapid prototyping or iterative development. At least two years of testing experience is required, as is at least one year of experience in a design/build or rapid prototyping environment. A bachelor's degree or higher is required, however, that requirement will be waved for highly qualified individuals with 7 or more years full time manual testing experience or 5 or more years automated testing experience. Experience in auditing can substitute for up to two years of the testing experience. Successful candidates will also have: a.. good interpersonal skills; b.. a demonstrated ability to work well in a group made of team leads, c.. extraordinary technical resources, project managers, architects, and external consultants; and d.. ability to work independently or as a team member with equal effectiveness and e.. have excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Job Requirements: a.. 2 or more years testing experience. b.. 1 year or more experience in design/build or rapid prototyping. c.. 2 or more years of audit experience will substitute for the testing experience above.
