Sitecore CMS Web Developer– San Francisco or Westwood, MA

Software Design and Development:
• Adhere to standards for Web framework, documentation, performance, coding
and version control.
• Lead and participate in all aspects of web development
• Assist in establishing a framework within Sitecore CMS to support future
development initiatives.
• Effectively communicate application designs orally and in written format
with end users, management, and developers
• Comply with standards for Web development and best practices in the areas
of layout, navigation, usability and accessibility and browser-compatibility

• Work closely with Quality Assurance team to ensure the reduction of
required testing durations

Required skills/qualifications include:
• Must have strong working knowledge and experience with Sitecore Content
Management System, preferably certified level two.
• 3+ years experience in analyzing, designing, and developing web based
transactional applications.
• 2+ years experience designing and implementing transactional websites
using Sitecore
• Creating Templates & Layouts
• Creating overall Content Tree
• Setting up Workflow & Publishing rules
• 1+ years experience with two or more of the following (can define and
implement):
• AJAX
• Building ASP.NET custom controls
• Advanced CSS
• Experience with the Online Marketing Suite (OMS) and it’s corresponding
Rules Engine within Sitecore to be used for conditional rendering.
• Strong knowledge of best practices in the areas of layout, navigation,
browser-compatibility, usability and accessibility, in particular:
• CSS Layout (or table-less XHTML)
• W3C
• DHTML
• Aware of Object Oriented Design, Design Patterns, and SOA principles
• Skilled at turning UI designs into attractive, feature-rich, dynamic user
interfaces using the latest techniques in web application development
• Experience in Performance/Load/Stress testing and familiarity with related
tools (e.g. Microsoft WCAT, Microsoft Team Test Load Agent, HP LoadRunner,
OpenSTA, The Grinder) a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Must be able to work independently and as a member of a team

Desirable skills:
• Experience working on large scale sites preferred
• Flash experience a plus but not required
• Financial services web application development experience
• Thorough understanding of Internet protocols a plus
• Experience working with web analytic tools, such as Google Analytics, Web
Trends. Omniture is preferred.
